US to stay in Iran deal for now
Senior Trump administrators say the US is committed to staying a part of the Iran nuclear deal despite the president’s criticisms.
Reuters reports, “Nikki Haley, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said that Tehran is complying with the 2015 nuclear accord intended to increase Iran’s accountability in return for the lifting of some economic sanctions. ‘I think right now, you’re going to see us stay in the deal,’ Haley told NBC’s ‘Meet the Press.’”
Trump has thrown the issue to Congress which has 60 days to decide whether to reinstate U.S. sanctions.

If you were seeing #MeToo in your social media feeds yesterday, here’s why
Many posted the words “me too” on social media, revealing intimate experiences of abuse, assault, & harassment https://t.co/dkrtdkHIKT pic.twitter.com/UHThwtaCoi
— CBS News (@CBSNews) October 17, 2017
According to a report from Recode, “following the sexual misconduct allegations against movie producer Harvey Weinstein, women began posting “Me Too” on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to say that they have experienced sexual harassment and assault; the #MeToo meme virally spiraled to more than half a million tweets by yesterday afternoon.”
Men,
Don’t say you have a mother, a sister, a daughter…
Say you have a father, a brother, a son who can do better.
We all can.#MeToo

FACEbook just bought tbh (B/c they buy everything)
TBH was kind of the social media hit of the summer, according to Recode (yeah, we like them): “TBH announced the deal on Monday, and a Facebook spokesperson confirmed that the app will remain active and the startup’s founders will continue running it.”
But it’s more than just a desire to own everything in sight that prompted FB to make the deal.
“The motivator for Facebook is obvious: The company wants to get the next wave of teenagers using a Facebook property. Teens are using Facebook less and less, but the good news is that many of them are headed to Instagram, which Facebook owns. Snapchat, of course, is also very popular with teens,” explains Recode. Makes sense to us.
